Stats Office: EU-harmonised inflation at 2.6 percent in January

EU-harmonised inflation in Slovakia stood at 2.6 percent year-on-year in January 2018, the Slovak Statistics Office announced on Friday. Month-on-month harmonised inflation in January stood at 0.9 percent and was mainly influenced by increases in the following categories: in food products and non-alcoholic beverages - by 0.43 percentage points (p.p.); in transport ? 0.19 p.p; and in housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels - 0.19 p.p.
