Statistics Office: Inflation in Slovakia slowed to 1.4 percent in August

Year-on-year inflation in Slovakia slowed down for the sixth consecutive month in August, going down by 0.3 percentage points from July to stand at 1.4 percent, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Monday. The inflation rate was the lowest for the past three years, added the office.
