Statistics Office: Inflation in Slovakia at 2.9 percent in July

Year-on-year inflation in Slovakia amounted to 2.9 percent in July, with core inflation standing at 2.5 percent and net inflation at 1.9 percent, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Tuesday. In July 2019 month-on-month cumulative inflation was influenced by core inflation by 0.06 percentage points (p.p.) and by regulated prices by 0.05 p.p. Indirect taxes had no effect on cumulative inflation.
