October 30th, 2020

The Chamber of Deputies approved the prolongation of the state of emergency due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the Czech Republic until November 20 under the proposal of the opposition Pirates, Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) and the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) at its session today. The government of Prime Minister Andrej Babis's ANO and the Social Democrats (CSSD) asked for the prolongation of the state of emergency by 30 days until December 3, but the motion was not supported.
