The Slovak Agricultural and Food Chamber (SPPK) has launched new food products, with representatives of the chamber christening them with Slovak soil at the Agrokomplex international agriculture and food fair in Nitra on Thursday. "We thus wanted to bring certain symbolism to the food industry and agriculture," said SPPK spokeswoman Jana Holeciova. New 100-percent natural, cold-pressed poppy, pumpkin and nut oils, Tokaj wines, curative teas from herbs grown in mountain areas, new bakery products, cheeses, sea buckthorn and gooseberry compots, and flavoured mustards will soon appear on store shelves.
