The Slovak supreme court has ruled in the case of the so-called Ducky's promissory notes in favour of Cyprus-based letterbox company called Stroden Management Limited, TASR learnt from gas utility SPP spokesman Ondrej Sebesta on Thursday. According to Sebesta, with this SPP loss in the courtroom, Slovakia might lose 30 million euros, adding that SPP would take steps to reverse the "unlawful and unjust" ruling. According to the SPP, the court failed to acknowledge the results of criminal proceedings that concluded that the promissory notes were unlawful.
