Soldiers decorated for foreign missions
August 17th, 2018
Almost 120 Czech troops were decorated for their service in foreign missions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Mali and at the Golan Heights at the National Memorial in Vitkov today. They have served at the mission command in Afghanistan, trained Afghan helicopter pilots and protected the local Czech embassy. The selected soldiers received the merits of cross from the defence minister, honorary military emblems and gifts.
