The Slovak National Party (SNS) wants the presidential campaign to be transparent, party chair Andrej Danko told TASR on Friday, adding that Smer-SD's proposal, which says that presidential candidates should give up tax confidentiality during their campaign, should be discussed. According to Danko "it would be ideal if every single euro was checked by the public control and every source of funds was known to the public." Smer-SD wants to change legislation so that presidential candidates are obliged to give up tax confidentiality during their campaign.
