Slovakia state budget deficit EUR 1.165 bn in March

Slovakia's state budget posted a deficit of 1.165 billion euros in March, which is almost three-times as much as in the same period of last year, according to a Finance Ministry report on the state budget for March 2019 released on Monday. State budget revenue increased by 44.1 million euros year-on-year, with expenditures rising by 754.8 million euros. The y-o-y worsening of the state budget performance can be attributed to an instalment for military planes, the ministry said.
