Slovakia has an interest in deepening trade-economic cooperation with China and increasing Slovak exports to that country, Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak said at a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Wednesday, TASR learnt from the ministry's press department. In this context, Lajcak also praised the recent inking of a protocol on exports of Slovak milk and dairy products to China, adding that Bratislava is interested in holding talks on exports of other food products. The two ministers confirmed their interest in fomenting closer ties in education and culture. "I hope that we'll sign an intergovernmental agreement on mutual recognition of academic degrees, report cards and certificates as well as a new programme of 2020-24 cultural cooperation in the foreseeable future," said Lajcak.
