Slovakia posts EUR 81.7 m trade deficit in August

Slovakia's foreign trade produced a deficit of 81.7 million euros in August 2018, which is a drop of 23.1 million euros year-on-year, the Statistics Office reported on Tuesday. Total exports amounted to 6.248 billion euros, up by 5.8 percent year-on-year, while total imports increased by 5.3 percent to 6.330 billion euros.
