Slovakia's stance remains unchanged even following the annexation of Crimea by Russia, and Slovakia still considers Crimea to be Ukraine's territory located within its internationally recognised borders, the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry said on Tuesday, adding that the same stance has been voiced by the EU and NATO. The ministry was responding to statements made by Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov, who provided Slovak daily Pravda with an exclusive interview that was published earlier on Tuesday. Among comments on other matters, Lavrov said that Crimea is an integral and inseparable part of the Russian Federation.
