Slovakia commemorates 75th anniversary of National Uprising in WWII

The entombment of an unknown soldier at a remembrance hall of the Slovak National Uprising (SNP) Memorial in Banska Bystrica, sale of the third edition of the Euro Souvenir banknote in the nominal value of zero euro to commemorate SNP and a concert in the State Opera will be among the top features of the national commemorative event marking 75th anniversary of SNP in Banska Bystrica on Wednesday and Thursday. The main event on Thursday is due to be attended by all three top constitutional officials in Slovakia: President Zuzana Caputova, Parliamentary Chairman Andrej Danko (Slovak National Party/SNS) and Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD).
