Well-known businessman Marian K. will continue to be prosecuted in custody regarding the case of promissory notes held against TV Markiza, which are described by the latter as forged, following a supreme court decision on Tuesday. The case of promissory notes worth some 70 million euros in total features most prominently Marian K. and former Markiza director Pavol R. - the person who signed the documents. Markiza claims that Pavol R. put his signature to them when he was no longer entitled to act on its behalf. Marian K. has been in custody since June.
