Slovak services, goods revenues down in December

Revenues from own services and goods in December 2018 dropped in month-to-month terms in all internal trade activities, the Statistics Office has reported. Revenues dropped as follows: in the sale and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles - 2.5 percent, in wholesale - 1.5 percent, in accommodation - 1.1 percent, in retail - 0.7 percent, and in restaurants and pubs - 0.6 percent. After two months of growth, revenues from the sale and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles dropped by 5.9 percent y-o-y in December. Revenues fell in the sale of motor vehicles by 6.1 percent, and in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles by 3 percent. Revenues from the sale of spare parts and accessories for motor vehicles increased by 1.7 percent. Revenues in retail grew by 0.6 percent y-o-y.
