The construction of a Slovak-Polish gas pipeline, designed to link Polish gas hub Strachocin and Slovak compressor facility Velke Kapusany, was halted on Friday as one of the contracting companies left the site, claiming the investor had failed to pay a total of 2 billion euros owed. The investor, Eurostream, has said the deadline for the construction would not be impacted. Eurostream also stated to have paid all invoices.
