Slovak mayors, independent candidates want to restore trust in state authorities

Restoring people's trust in politicians, the police, prosecutors and judges - this is the most important goal of the party called "Mayors and Independent Candidates" presented by Frantisek Gogh, Velke Ulany (Trnava region) mayor and the leader of the party's slate for the 2020 general election, at a news conference on Friday. The party wants to work for the benefit of citizens, not oligarchs and financial groups. Gogh characterised Mayors and Independent Candidates as a democratic, pro-European and pro-Atlantic party with a strong social feeling and anti-fascist and anti-communist orientation.
