Slovak labour offices pay out EUR 5.2m to support employment

Labour offices have already sent approved money to 9,523 applicants for contributions as part of the first aid to maintain jobs during the coronavirus crisis and have paid out a total of 5.2 million euros by Monday, TASR learnt. Since April 6, labour offices have registered 43,021 applications for contributions. Of these, they have processed 7,304 agreements on the provision of a contribution to employees' salaries under the first measure. Another 16,255 agreements have been sent to self-employed persons who applied for a loss of income allowance under the second measure.
