Slovak International Air Fest draws attendance of 107,000

The ninth Slovak International Air Fest drew about 107,000 visitors, who converged upon the Sliac Airbase over the weekend to admire aviation mastery of pilots and the beauty of aircraft both in the air and on the ground, Zdenka Marhefkova of the SIAF media team said on Monday. The Slovak air force, which underwent modernisation recently, pulled off an attractive performance, said Marhefkova. Visitors could see Spartan tactical transport aircraft, L-39 Albatros, MiG 29 jet fighters or the air display of UH 60 Black Hawk helicopter.
