Slovak households not to pay more for gas in Jan

Retail gas prices in Slovakia will not increase in the first half of next year, according to a proposal approved by the government at its final session of the year on Wednesday. The state will make use of its status as sole shareholder in the gas utility and order the board of directors not to use the ceiling gas price for households in the 2019/2020 heating season set at 4.94 percent by the Office for the Regulation of Network Industries (URSO).
