Slovak economic sentiment indicator up in March

The three-month moving average of the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) went up by 0.1 points month-on-month in March 2019 to 98.5 points, mainly due to an increase in confidence in services and partly owing to an increase in confidence in trade, the Statistics Office reported on Thursday. The current ESI lags behind the long-term average by 5.1 points and by 4.5 points in year-on-year terms.
