February 27th, 2020
Following growth in January, the three-month moving average of the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) fell by 1 point month-on-month in February 2020 to 98.0 points, mainly due to drops in confidence in industry, construction and services, while confidence among consumers posted slight growth, the Statistics Office reported on Thursday. The current ESI lags behind the long-term average by 5.3 points and by 0.4 points in year-on-year terms.
