Employers' associations and chambers of commerce in Slovakia are concerned about the way in which the government is promoting changes in family allowances, pensions and highway stickers. According to them, hastily approved legal amendments and proposed fast-track legislative proceedings is in contradiction with the principles of the predictable legislative procedures that the government pledged to pursue in its manifesto. "We resolutely object to public finances being misused for campaigning," reads the press release sent by chambers of commerce and employers to the media on Tuesday.
