The Slovak Bishops Conference (KBS) on Thursday called on the government to lift the ban on public religious services that has been in place since mid-October as part of a set of strict measures to contain the spread of coronavirus. According to KBS chairman Stanislav Zvolensky, Archbishop of Bratislava, the Catholic Church supports the government's efforts against coronavirus and has repeatedly encouraged the faithful to observe decreed measures.
