Czechs see the direct presidential election as the best method of choosing their head of state, with a 69 percent support of citizens, according to a poll released by the Public Opinion Research Centre (CVVM) on Tuesday. According to the poll, 11 percent of Czechs would welcome a return to a system where the president is elected by the parliament and 14 percent prefer electing the president in a wider assembly of voters.
