Polish Senate Speaker Stanislaw Karczewski on Monday said President Andrzej Duda and Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz could improve their relations. In a radio interview, Karczewski was asked if the "positive change" camp was united again, following Friday's meeting between the ruling Law and Justice leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski and the president. The Senate speaker replied that they were still a single team. "There was a bit of a disappointment, because we had thought, to be perfectly honest, that the president would sign those bills", Karczewski conceded, referring to Law and Justice's court reform bills, two of which, on the Supreme Court (SN) and the National Judicial Council (KRS), were vetoed by Duda.
