Sejm rejects anti-vaccination bill

November 9th, 2018

Poland's Sejm on Friday rejected a civil initiative abolishing obligatory vaccinations. The act was voted down in a 354 to 10 vote with 16 abstentions. On Thursday the initiative's rejection was recommended by the lower house's health and social policy committees. The rejected bill made vaccinations voluntary and obligatory only in the case of epidemic threats.
