The Opposition Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party on Monday accused Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) of misleading the public when commenting on a recent joint statement of the British, Canadian and US embassies to mark International Anti-Corruption Day (December 9). SaS stated that it's true that the embassies welcomed recent court verdicts that sent former senior state officials to jail for corruption and also praised progress in several other cases, but they also pointed out that public trust in state bodies remains low.
