The Bratislava Regional Court in an appeal hearing on Tuesday convicted Filip Rybanic, assistant to Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) lawmaker Jozef Rajtar, of violating banking secrecy by going public with information from the account of former interior minister Robert Kalinak. Rybanic was sentenced to three years in prison, which was suspended on probation for a period of one year. In September of last year, the Bratislava V District Court gave Rybanic a three-year suspended sentence with five years of probation for the crime of breaching commercial, banking, postal, tax and telecommunications secrecy.
