The Russian embassy has criticised that the City Hall does not plan to reinstall a plaque commemorating the Red Army's contribution to the liberation of Prague in 1945 with Mayor Zdenek Hrib (Pirates) saying the information on the plaque is inaccurate, server Aktualne writes today. Hrib said the plaque should be placed in the City of Prague Museum, accompanied by an explanatory text. The commemorative plaque was placed at the Old Town Hall in 1946 and had to be taken down in 2017 because of reconstruction works. Restorers are now working on it.
