Voter support for Poland's ruling Law and Justice (PiS) reached 40.48 percent in the latest poll by the Pollster research institute for the Super Express daily. If parliamentary elections were held in late January, its main opponent, the Civic Coalition (KO), would receive 27.39 percent of the vote. KO comprises Civic Platform (PO), Nowoczesna, the Polish Initiative and the Greens. The Left, composed of the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), Spring and the Together Party (Razem), placed third with 14.66 percent of the vote. The right-wing Confederation was backed by 8.47 percent of Poles while the Polish People's Party (PSL)-Polish Coalition, including Kukiz'15, could count on 8.28 percent of the vote.
