Rate of registered unemployment stood at 4.97 percent in June

The rate of registered unemployment in June stood at 4.97 percent, increasing by 0.09 percentage points (p.p.) month-on-month and dropping by 0.46 p.p. year-on-year, according to data published by the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Centre (UPSVR) on Friday. The centre explained that the monthly increase was chiefly influenced by the former students who recently graduated and registered themselves at labour offices.
