The extra-parliamentary Progressive Slovakia-Together liberal coalition on Tuesday said it has told its "partners in opposition" in advance that it would not organise any political events to mark the second anniversary of the murders of investigative journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancee Martina Kusnirova later this month. PS-Together was reacting to an announcement earlier in the day by For the People leader Andrej Kiska and Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) chairman Richard Sulik that a commemorative event will be held on SNP Square in Bratislava on February 21, with the parents of the murdered couple in attendance. Sulik also said that only a "decent centre-right government can change" the current situation in the country.
