Protesting parents of disabled say they are ready for compromise

Parents of disabled adults, who have been protesting in the Sejm for almost three weeks, said on Monday they have put together another compromise regarding their demand for a special benefit for the disabled. The leader of the protesters, Iwona Hartwich, said that they were ready to take "half a step back" but they need the other party in the dispute to discuss it. "We have put together a third compromise concerning the 500 zloty (ca. EUR 119) benefit for the disabled," Hartwich said during a press conference in the Sejm.
