President signs bill for National Cancer Strategy
January 8th, 2019
President Andrzej Duda on Tuesday signed a bill for a National Cancer Strategy, before sending it to the Sejm (lower house). According to the President's Office, the document creates a legal framework for the creation and subsequent adoption of a National Cancer Strategy. The document will set the directions of development of Polish oncology, which is vital, as there has been a significant increase in the incidence of cancer and cancer mortality in Poland.
