President Andrzej Duda has sent to the Constitutional Tribunal for review an amendment to Poland's new university law. The law provided judges with lifelong employment at universities, Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin wrote on Twitter on Thursday. The university and science law, or the so-called Constitution for Science, is aimed at reforming the university system. It was signed by the president on August 1, 2018 and entered into force On October 1, 2018.
