February 27th, 2020
Fully 60 percent of Poles declared confidence in President Andrzej Duda in February, which puts him on top of the confidence ranking despite a four percentage point decline from January, a survey by the CBOS pollster shows. Duda's February results are the weakest since July 2017, CBOS observed. The incumbent president was followed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who is trusted by 55 percent of those surveyed, down 4 pps from January, and Justice Minister and Prosecutor General Zbigniew Ziobro, with a 44-pct trust rating, down 2 pps. Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the leader of the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, is trusted and distrusted by equal percentages of those surveyed - 43 pct.
