President dismisses Transport Minister Kremlik

January 22nd, 2020

President Milos Zeman has dismissed Transport Minister Vladimir Kremlik as of Thursday and assigned Industry and Trade Minister Karel Havlicek (both for ANO) to head the sector as of Friday, Zeman's spokesman Jiri Ovcacek told CTK in a press release today. Zeman will send the decision to entrust Havlicek with heading the Transport Ministry to him in writing, Ovcacek told CTK, adding that this was a legitimate way. First Czechoslovak President Tomas Garrigue Masaryk (1918-1935) also proceeded this way, he noted.
