President Caputova accepts Andrea Kalavska's resignation
December 17th, 2019
President Zuzana Caputova on Tuesday accepted the resignation by Health Minister Andrea Kalavska and appointed Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini to temporarily head the ministry. Health Minister Kalavska chose to step down from her post on December 9, shortly after the Government on December 4 withdrew the hospital reform, a so-called stratification bill, from Parliament's agenda.
