September 11th, 2019
Prague will host a summit of the Visegrad Four countries (Czechia, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary) and Western Balkan countries' PMs on Thursday aiming at tighter cooperation between the two regions, although the Kosovo representative declined after President Milos Zeman's comments. At his ongoing state visit to Serbia, Zeman repeatedly criticised Kosovo and called it a non-democratic country. Later, he said he would like to initiate talks in the Czech government that would ascertain the possibility of revoking the Czech Republic's recognition of Kosovo's independence.
