The Prague 1 district authorities imposed a fine on two activists who threw flowers from some politicians into a dustbin during last year's November 17 celebrations, Prague 1 spokeswoman Katerina Pisackova has confirmed to CTK today. One of the activists was fined with 2,000 crowns and the other one with 4,000. The thrown-away flowers were laid by President Milos Zeman, PM Andrej Babis (ANO) and Chamber of Deputies deputy chairman Tomio Okamura (Freedom and Direct Democracy, SPD) at the November 17 memorial commemorating the 1989 student demonstration which triggered the "Velvet Revolution" and the fall of the communist regime in Czechoslovakia.
