Poll: 42.6 pc of Slovaks believe life was better under communism

According to a recent poll by the Focus agency, up to 42.6 percent of Slovaks think that people lived better before 1989, with 19.8 percent stating that life was considerably better and 22.8 percent that it was slightly better. The opposite opinion is held by 32.1 percent of respondents, with 13 percent believing that life is significantly better than before 1989 and 19.1 percent stating that it is somewhat better.
