Polish, Ukrainian churches seek greater reconciliation, dialogue

A common position, 'In love and truth,' was signed at Jasna Gora in Czestochowa (southern Poland) on Tuesday by the president of the Polish Bishops' Conference, Abp Stanislaw Gadecki, and the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Abp Sviatoslav Shevchuk. Archbishop Gadecki said after the signing that the position had been unanimously adopted by a sitting in Jasna Gora on Tuesday of the Council of Diocesan Bishops.
