Polish Senate speaker: Polish-Lithuanian treaty crucial for both nations

The Polish-Lithuanian treaty on friendly relations, signed 25 years ago, was a key moment for both countries' cooperation, Speaker of the Polish Senate Stanisław Karczewski said on Thursday in the Lithuanian parliament. "Its main message is to close historical conflicts and create conditions for the development of friendly relations and strategic cooperation between Poland and Lithuania," Karczewski added.
