Polish President Andrzej Duda has signed a law which regulates some matters related to the recognition of professional qualifications in the event of a hard Brexit, the President's Office said on Friday. The new regulations envisage the possibility of the recognition, in Poland, of professional qualifications acquired in the United Kingdom by Polish citizens and citizens of other EU countries, in the event of a so-called no-deal Brexit. Decisions recognising professional qualifications acquired in Poland or any other EU country by UK citizens (and their family members) will also remain legally binding. The new legislation will come into force should the United Kingdom withdraw from the EU without concluding a deal.
