Large-scale public investments and encouraging businesspeople to invest have become particularly important in the times of the coronavirus crisis, PM Mateusz Morawiecki said on Facebook on Thursday after a closed-door meeting at the European Economic Congress, which has been taking place in the Polish southern city of Katowice, where Morawiecki met with businesspeople attending the event. The prime minister stressed his government's engagement in supporting entrepreneurs. "Today, at the European Economic Congress in Katowice, I was describing how the government's (...) relief programmes, the anti-crisis and financial shields, have helped to save millions of jobs," Morawiecki wrote.
