Polish MoD to meet US National Security Advisor

Poland's Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak will meet in Warsaw on Friday with the US National Security Advisor John Bolton, the Polish Defence Ministry announced on Thursday. John Bolton will be in Warsaw to accompany US President Donald Trump, who is coming to Poland on a visit, during which he will take part in observances marking the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of WWII. While in Poland, Bolton will also meet with the Polish president's chief aide Krzysztof Szczerski. According to the Defence Ministry, Polish-US talks will focus on military cooperation envisaged in the declaration signed by the Polish and US presidents in June, including the location of new US military units in Poland, the prospects of a purchase by Poland of F-35 combat planes and the possibility of Poland's participation in the programme.
