Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak on Thursday signed the Polish Armed Forces Technical Modernisation Plan Until 2026, which is worth PLN 185 bln (EUR 43 bln). Generally, new equipment is to be deployed in Poland's east. At a press conference in Warsaw, Mariusz Błaszczak said it is one of the most important plans affecting the development of the Polish armed forces. The current plan is worth PLN 45 bn (EUR 10.4 bn) more than the previous one, Błaszczak stressed. "It is a record plan in terms of its value," he said.
