The situation in Polish healthcare is under control, Health Minister Konstanty Radziwill said on Wednesday after a few thousand doctors withdrew from the opt-out contract provision under which they had agreed to work more than 48 hours a week. The situation poses a challenge for hospital directors, but is also an opportunity to find new ways of ensuring efficient operation of the healthcare system, he said.
