Referring to Poland's relations with Israel, Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said on Friday that it was necessary to calm down tensions between the two countries. The Polish official was asked at a press conference about Polish-Israeli relations in the context of the ongoing conflict around the amendment to the law on the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) - The Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation. "I am convinced that the Israeli government will seek to de-escalate emotions," Czaputowicz added.
